Scam operational

They took my money, told me that the items I ordered were in stock and then a few weeks later, sent me a letter dated May 04, 2020 apologizing that the items were not available. NOTHING ABOUT THE MONEY I SENT THEM AND NO SIGNATURE.

User's recommendation: NEVER ORDER FROM THIS OUTFIT. They never answer their phone and they play this marching music which is abominable to the spirit. I believe they are SCAM. I am reporting them to BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND FBI AND POLICE.

Was charged for a catalog at $14.95 per month, that they told me was in the terms and condition after I finalized an order from them for a night gown for my wife. To me, sneaky business practice. They didn't make that clear at all.

Do not purchase from the Country Store

Have not ordered anything from them. Then, my credit card shows a 14.95 charge! I called customer service &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; she transferred me to VIP. Without question, she said she would refund the $14.95. I asked if she had my CC# No, she would send a email confirmation and all I got was a refund on my acct. WHAT. I never had an acct . I would need to order something to get my money back. If I did order I would have given them my credit card. This is a scam! I dont plan to order anything just to get the 14.95 back. Too much of a hassle. Just let them have the money.

I placed an order and paid extra for rush. During the check out process it states that standard delivery to the Eastern and Central time zones takesn3 to 5 business days. One would think that it would be quicker with the added payment for rush. Wrong. The item is scheduled for delivery EIGHT days after the order was placed. Communication with Country Store (both written and oral) brought no resolution - they simply did not care. I will not order from them again.

We ordered a sweatshirt for a relative and what we received was not what was described in the catalogue. The wording in the catalogue is what we ordered off of. We called customer service and spoke with a philipino lady whose accent was so thick we could hardly understand her. She kept telling us that we were wrong and we couldn't read. We finally looked up the item online and the descriptions were different. We called on12/16 and asked to be transferred to the USA customer service. We explained how terrible their outsourced customer service was and all the gentleman could say was "sorry". I asked if he understood that the more outsourcing his company does the less U.S. employees they will need....no comment. If you have another choice, go!

Free shipping over 65 dollars. Right. One of the items was the wrong size. I used their shipping label and was charged $6.95 to send it back to them. Then I was charged another $6.95 for them to ship the replacement that was part of free shipping back. I had to send that item back because of the fit and yet another $6.95. Also their items are way too expensive and some are of inferior quality. They take NE parsimonious nature way too far. Also, I have repeatedly asked them not to sell my information and to stop catalogues to no avail. Bad business in this day of e trade.

Called to ask about a discount code talked with a rep they transferred me to another rep who transferred me to a 3 rep and was put on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes before I hung up when I called back right away they were closed. If I would not have hung up I could have been on the phone all night. The next morning when I called all they would do for all the hassle was give me the 4.99 shipping which I could have done on the internet. What a waste of time

I ordeedr a 3X coat, listed as a plus size 24-26. HA! The actual coat is WAY smaller than a 3X. So I am returning it but now I learn that I have to pay my own return shipping charges PLUS a $7.95 restocking fee AND it will all take 4-6 WEEKS to process? If I get a refund at all, I'll count myself lucky. So, all told, I'm out $30 for nothing. By the time they go out of business for lousy service, they will be multi-millionaires bilking money out of every customer. I wouldn't be suprised if I never got the refund.

I ordered On Dec 11,2018. I was Going to purchase three items but one said it was on backorder so I did Not order it!

Placed my order for the 2 items for Christmas gift. As of Dec 24 still hadn’t seen or heard anything on the items

Called and was told that one item wouldn’t even be shipped til Dec 26th and the other item Sometime in January 2019 merry Christmas to you to thanks for making me look like an *** as now I have No gift for my mother! I was Counting On This as her gifts.

Your customer service person was rude and said well it’s on back order and left it as that say la vi basically *** your Christmas oh well we don’t care or give a *** Why wasn’t I notified That the items went on backorder after I placed My order atleast then I could have gotten something else for her and more than likely would have canceled the order but now I have Egg on my face! I think You all have serious problems with customer service and communication to you customers I will Never recommend your company to anyone after this!

I was being charged $14.95 every month and didn't know about it since I didnt check all the expenses on the list (my bad for trusting online orders all the time) and complained. It turned out they had been taking $14.95 from me from January, 2019 to October, 2019 when I saw the latest charge.

I complained to them and they said they will refund the last 5 months. I asked for an email confirmation and I called my Credit Card to BLOCK the PGI Country Store from taking any money from my credit card on top of calling them and asking to remove me from their subscription list.

Ordered Hat

I ordered from the Catalog C49-010 and when I received it, it was in a plastic mailer flatter than a pancake and horribly wrinkled. I shaped it with my hands and tried to put it on a form and nothing happened. I then tried steaming it and also pressing the brim and absolutely nothing helped the situation. Why in heavens name would a company send a hat in a mailer and in that condition is beyond me. Try and do better as this is a major disappointment.
